Wanted woman arrested without incident

Police say Erin Nicole McKinnon has been located and arrested.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Police say Erin Nicole McKinnon has been located and arrested.

The Fort St. John RCMP asked for the public’s assistance in finding McKinnon earlier this week

A short time after the police put out the request, a member of the public reportedly contacted the RCMP with the woman’s location. She was found and arrested without incident, according to police.

McKinnon was wanted on warrants for assault with a weapon, uttering threats and theft under $5,000.

The woman was held for court and then released by the courts on a release order, according to the RCMP.
