Four arrested in Fort St. John drug bust
Fort St. John police officers seized over 50 grams of suspected illicit drugs during a proactive traffic stop on Sunday.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Fort St. John police officers seized over 50 grams of suspected illicit drugs during a traffic stop on Sunday.
Shortly after 2 p.m. on March 19th, frontline officers on proactive patrol reportedly pulled over a vehicle in the parking lot of a local hotel.
After a police investigation, all four occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking. Over 50 grams of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine were seized.

“This demonstrates the Fort St John RCMP’s commitment to dealing with drugs and trying to keep our community safe,” said Fort St John RCMP Detachment Commander inspector Anthony Hanson.Â
“This arrest removes 50 doses of potentially lethal drugs off the streets of Fort St John.”
The individuals involved were reportedly released pending lab evaluation results for the suspected illicit drugs.
