California Comedy Show taking the stage Saturday at the Lido

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Get laughing with the California Comedy Show, happening this weekend at the Lido Theatre.

Comedians Cat Alvarado, Matt Gubser, and Lars Callieou will be at the Lido this Saturday, October 2nd.

Callieou is from Fort St. John and invited Gubser and Alvarado to jump on tour with him after their dates in the Okanagan got pushed around in August due to COVID-19 outbreaks.

For Alvarado, this is her first time in Canada and she’s looking forward to counting how many times she hears the word “sorry”. Her act pulls a lot from her Latin American heritage, dating and being a single woman.

For Callieou, his act will revolve around his time in the Peace.

Gubser is an award-winning comedian from the San Fransico area.
