Gord Klassen re-elected in UBCM

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Fort St. John Councillor Gord Klassen has been re-elected as a director at large for the Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) for the 2021-22 Executive Board.

Klassen was one of five directors to be elected on the board, also elected was Sadie Hunter from Kamloops, Amy Lubik from Port Moody, Sarrah Storey from Fraser Lake and Gaby Wickstrom from Port McNeill.

According to the UBCM website, it was formed as a way to provide a voice for local government and give an opportunity for local governments of all sizes from across the province to come together, share experiences, and take a united position.
