FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of FSJ has released information regarding where residents will be required to verify proof of vaccination at its facilities.
Starting September 13th, the B.C. Vaccine Card will be required when entering some businesses and events for those aged 12 and over.
According to a release, based on the provincial health order, any visitors and participants are required to show their B.C. Vaccine Card and a government-issued photo ID at city recreational facilities for adult fitness, sports, or dance activities for anyone 22-years-old and older and events, booking, and gatherings of more than 50 participants.

Proof of vaccination is not required for the following, according to the City:
Any spectators for youth sports and programs will be limited to no more than 50 people, and seating may be closed to help manage gatherings.
The City is also reminding residents that masks are required in all indoor City facilities when not engaged in physical activity, based on the provincial health order.
