DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Water shut-offs and sanitary sewer cleaning will be taking place this week in Dawson Creek.

A contractor will be performing specialty cleaning of the Sanitary Sewer Trunk Main as part of the City’s ongoing commitment to improving the integrity and effectiveness of the infrastructure.  This contractor is expected to start later in the week, and the work will last around two weeks.

The cleaning will begin around 17th Street, just south of Alaska Avenue and move south. Residents in the area may see some traffic restrictions as the contractor moves along the projected route.

Water shut-offs are also scheduled in Dawson Creek from August 17th to 19th during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On August 17th, households on 15th Street and 111th Avenue will have their water shut-off as well as 111th Avenue to 113th Street.

On August 18th, water will be shut-off along 3rd Street to 4th Street along 116th Avenue.

August 19th will be water shut-off along 17th Street to 19th Street on 102nd Avenue and 102nd Avenue to 104th Avenue on 18th Street.
