DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Dawson Creek RCMP arrested a 35-year-old male after an attempted break and enter on Monday.
Officers received a report man breaking into a gated compound on 17th Street near 98th Avenue.
Mounties found Matthew Victor Ayotte walking away from the area, and discovered he was trying to break into the area by dragging a fence down with a 3-wheeled ATV.
After Ayotte’s arrest, police found that the ATV had been reported earlier the same day.
Ayotte has been formally charged with: Break and Enter with Intent, Possession of Stolen Property, and Mischief under $5000.
Ayotte was remanded into custody.
