FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Two people are in isolation after BC Hydro was notified of a worker who tested positive for COVID-19.
Hydro was notified of the positive case on February 24th.
As of March 8th, there are 1,137 people in camp, with two of those in isolation.
Hydro has been following the Ministry of Health guidelines very strictly and has implemented various protocols to help prevent the virus from spreading.
For example, Hydro requires people to isolate if they show any symptoms as described by the BC CDC no matter how mild, including sneezing, sore throat, muscle aches, headaches, cougher, fever, or difficulty breathing.
Since March 2020, there have been 49 cases of COVID-19 at Site C.
