FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Environment Canada has extended its snowfall warning for Highway 97 and the Pine Pass.
According to Environment Canada, snow will develop this afternoon and then become heavy this evening. The snow will ease overnight or early on Thursday morning.
Environment Canada says an additional 10 to 15 cm of snow is expected for the area.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Weather in the mountains can suddenly change, which may result in hazardous driving conditions.
