FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – At the next City Council meeting on Monday, December 14, Council will get a look at artist renderings of redevelopment plans for Kin and Surerus Parks.
Some of the plans for redevelopment at Kin Park include the installation of a new playground, a boardwalk, and a wetland area, along with nature-based play areas.
As for the changes expected to be at Surerus Park, some of that includes the installation of an updated tennis court, new washrooms at the south end, and a new playground.
The plans for Surerus also include the construction of a picnic area with a shelter.
All of these redevelopments for Kin and Surerus Parks are based on input that was collected from public consultations.
