FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Following the issuing of COVID-19 Provincial Health Orders, on November 20, the City of Fort St. John has made changes to its scheduled ‘Santa Claus Week’.

Still taking place December 1 to the 6, instead of in-person activities being offered as originally planned, all events will now be strictly virtual.

The purpose of going completely virtual is part of the Provincial Health Officer’s orders to restrict group gatherings as a way to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19.

Some of the virtual events taking place throughout the week include holiday craft activities, the best-decked home and business contest, and a video chat with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
