FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A virtual town hall was held, Monday, for residents to learn more about the proposed expansion of services at the Charlie Lake Fire Hall.
The Peace River Regional District is currently in the process of looking to expand services at the Charlie Lake Fire Hall to include road rescue and first medical response services.
The virtual town hall also provided information on the associated costs if services are to be expanded.

According to the Regional District, the start-up cost for road rescue would be $46,800, and then $19,700 on an annual basis.
As for the start-up cost for medical response, it would be $27,350 for the first year and $11,424 annually.
Charlie Lake residents are to submit their petition forms by the deadline of Monday, December 7, 2020.
