FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – B.C. Hydro says it is has been notified that four contractor workers on the Site C project have tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Hydro, one worker tested positive after returning home following their shift rotation. They are currently isolating at home under the medical supervision of their local health authority.

The other three workers are currently at site and will remain in quarantine in a separate dormitory in the worker accommodation under the supervision of the onsite health clinic.

All four workers were part of the same small crew at site. As a precautionary measure, all remaining members of this work crew have also been isolated in camp or at home.

None of the workers who tested positive left camp or had any interaction with the local community.
