VANCOUVER, B.C. – The BC SPCA is offering two virtual workshops for kids aged 8 through to 14. Both workshops will run from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm and are scheduled to coincide with professional development days in school districts across the province.

The first workshop is geared towards kids aged 8 through 11 and is called Animal Arts. The workshop engages kids to participate in fun projects to learn more about animals.

The second workshop is for youth aged 11 to 14 and is called Animal Careers. This workshop will teach about different jobs available that work with animals.

According to Manager of Humane Education at the BC SPCA, Paul Neuman, the online workshops have allowed the SPCA to reach more young people across the province.
