DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The South Peace Health Services Society has received a much-needed boost to their Bultery’s Community House Project.
Grants of $10,000 from the Dawson Creek Community Endowment Fund and $5,000 from the Pouce Coupe Community Endowment Fund were awarded from the Northeast B.C. Community Foundation.
A total of $15,000 was donated to the Community House Project.
On hand to receive the donation from Sue Kenny, Board Chair of the Northeast B.C. Community Foundation, were Board members of the South Peace Health Services Society.
The facility will provide affordable accommodation for patients and their families who travel from outside the city to receive treatment and care, whether it be overnight or a longer period of time, at the hospital and facilities in Dawson Creek.
