GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – Fort St. John rider Jake Gardner was in Grande Prairie for the 2020 Professional Bull Riders Canada Monster Energy Tour Finals.
As part of the PBR Shell Rotella Challenge event, Gardner managed to rank in the top ten by placing sixth with 84.5 in the first round and 85.5 in the second round, making for an event aggregate of 170.
With his efforts, Gardner ranks 11th on the 2020 PBR Canada National Standings with a total of 69.83 points, and winnings of $3,994.67.
Coming out on top for the event was two-time PBR Canada Champion Zane Lambert of Ponoka, Alberta, and Australian sensation Callum Miller, both tied for first with an event aggregate of 173.
The PBR Canada Finals was originally scheduled for SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, November 13 to 14 and had to be moved due to provincial COVID-19 restrictions.
