VICTORIA, B.C. – During a COVID-19 update, on Thursday, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced that the B.C. CDC will be providing a new COVID-19 dashboard.
According to Henry, the new epidemiology dashboard, in addition to the current COVID dashboard, will show what is happening in B.C. compared to other jurisdictions in Canada and around the world, including information on cases and testing.
Henry says this dashboard will be made public and will be updated twice-a-week on Tuesdays and Fridays on the B.C. CDC’s COVID-19 webpage.
Along with the announcement of the new dashboard, Henry says the Province will be providing a data modelling update next Thursday, November 12.
Henry reported, Thursday, 425 new cases of COVID-19 across B.C., bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 16,560.
Active cases across the province stand at 3,389 and 12,806 have since recovered.
Hospitalizations in B.C., are at 97, with 24 of those in ICU.
The province’s death count remains at 273.
7,519 people are currently under active public health monitoring as a result of identified exposure to known cases.
