FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – After a delayed start to the season, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Northwest Junior Hockey League will be starting exhibition series this week.

Starting this Saturday, October 10, the Sexsmith Vipers will be host to the JDA County Kings, and the Fairview Flyers will be taking on the North Peace Navigators.

While the exhibition series will be starting this weekend and continue throughout October, information has yet to be released as to when and where the Fort St. John Huskies and the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks will be playing their exhibition games.

As of September 25, the teams are awaiting approval from Hockey B.C. to play some exhibition games, with the hope of eventually being allowed to play with the rest of the league in Alberta.
