FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Fort St. John’s Dairy Queen, as always, will be participating in Miracle Treat Day this year which will be held on August 10.

Fort St. John Owner Linda Patterson says they have set a goal of $14,000 for this years event. All net proceeds go to Children’s Hospital and helps people in the Peace Region directly.

Last year, they raised close to $15,000. Patterson says she lowered the amount this year to respect the ongoing wildfire efforts in B.C.

“We haven’t really pushed it because that is way more important right now.”

Patterson says it tends to get quite busy in the evening as people get off work and head in for desert.

You can also do a pre-order if you wish for a large order or for a company looking to participate in Miracle Treat Day.
