Higher amount of taxes not received this year: City of Fort St. John
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John has released the numbers when it comes to taxes received and taxes still outstanding.
2017 Taxes Receivables were: $50,630,342.31. Outstanding were: $8,687,932.26 (17.16%). Penalty totals were: $589,647.73. A total of 9,326 tax notices were printed.

Taxes in arrears are charged 10% as of July 4th and then commencing January 1st, 2018, are charged daily interest compounded on any outstanding balance.
