Dawson Creek RCMP investigating bomb threat at bank

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – On Saturday, December 3, 2016, Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a report that a bomb threat had been called in at a local bank.

At around 12:41 p.m., an unknown person called the CIBC in Dawson Creek and said a bomb was located in the building and would go off later that day.

The financial institution was searched by police but nothing was found. Police say for the safety of employees and customers, the bank was evacuated and closed for the rest of the day.
