Grande Prairie Traffic Stop results in charges against male

GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB – A Traffic Stop in Grande Prairie has resulted in charges against a 44 year-old man.

On Friday, December 2, 2016 the Grande Prairie RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 110th Street and 106th Avenue.

As a result of the stop, cocaine, cash, and a prohibited weapon were seized from a man driving a vehicle.

44 year-old Donald Cameron of Grande Prairie was arrested and charged with the following offences:
– Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
– Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
– 5 Counts of Failing to Comply with Conditions of Recognizance
He is currently in custody until December 7th when he will appear in Grande Prairie court.
