“I am in the process of forming an Electoral Area B Water Advisory Committee to assist me in developing a potable water service proposal for residents in Area ‘B’.”

The following resolution was adopted by the board at a September 8, 2016 meeting.

“That Regional District staff be authorized to work with Northern Health staff and the Electoral Area ‘B’ Director to develop an appropriate educational package to present to the residents of Electoral Area ‘B’ regarding the development of potable water resources; in preparation to approach the residents regarding a water function in Electoral Area ‘B’ through a public approval process.”

A Request for Proposals to carry out the feasibility study will be publicly issued within the next one to two weeks according to Goodings.
