GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – Police in Grande Prairie are looking for a suspect who sexually assaulted a woman on a trail.

On Tuesday, July 5th at approximately 7:30 p.m, a woman was running by herself on a pathway near Tony Romas. She was approached by an unknown male who sexually assaulted her and then fled.

The man is described as dark to medium complexion, approximately 35-40 years old, with short brown hair and was wearing a black shirt and black pants.

The woman was otherwise unharmed. Police want people to be aware of this incident and are asking anybody with information on who the suspect may be, to contact RCMP.
