Technical flood hazard assessments occurring: Regional District
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and the Peace River Regional District are jointly working together to conduct technical flood hazard assesments.
The assesments are going to happen in the following areas:
- Wildmare Creek
- Bowler Creek
- Commotion Creek
- Medicine Woman Creek
- Stone Creek
- Bissett Creek west of Chetwynd
- Bissell Creek near Pouce Coupe
- Pouce Coupe River
- Pys Creek
- LeBleu Creek
Ongoing monitoring continues at these sights and the public is encouraged to send any information they feel is appropriate regarding creeks in their area to the Regional District. You can reach them at 250-784-3200. Any information shared will be forwarded to the engineering teams for both the Regional District and Transportation
