2016 Canada Day Activities in Fort St. John
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – With Canada Day here, there is lots to do and see on Friday.
at 10:00 am on 100th street, there will be Pre Parade Entertainers, including: Batman, Spiderman, Princess Elsa and Anna
The Canada Day parade will take place at 11:00 am on 100th street. Food venders will be at Centennial Park starting at 11:00 am as well.
At 12:00 pm, there will be the Mayor’s kick-off to Canada which will take place at the Centennial Park stage.
From 12:15 to 4:00 in the park, there will be activities galore for kids and a Farmer’s Market as well. At 1:00 pm there will also be the world fair.
Surerus Park will be the venue for the fireworks. Those will start at 10:45 pm.
There also are road closures for the day. Most notably:
On July 1st, there will be NO parking available on 100th street from 93 Avenue up to 100th Ave. 100th and 100th will be closed during the procession at 11:00am. Be aware of other traffic closures and plan your route/parking accordingly.
