Beatton Airport Road Fire Update – April 22 – 9 p.m.
FORT ST. JOHN B.C. — Officials say the Beatton Airport Road Fire is still around 6,300 hectares and still about five per cent contained.
The fire is in expanded attack, and the weather is forecasted to change overnight with scattered showers moving into the area.
The Beaton River Airport Road is now open.
An evacuation alert from the PRRD is still in effect for the area.
