Structures lost in regional fires

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Fire Information Officer Amanda Reynolds has confirmed some more structures that were lost in the fires, including two in the South Taylor Hill fires.

Reynolds says one was an unoccupied home that seemed to be abandoned, and the other was a primary residence. And, in Kelly Lake, an abandoned/unoccupied cabin was lost.

In Charlie Lake, Acting Fire Chief Dale Widsten confirmed that some structures that were barns and outbuildings were lost, but no homes.

No confirmation has come in about Baldonnel structure losses.
