Curling club holds men’s bonspiel

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Curling Club held its men’s bonspiel over the weekend with 18 teams on the ice. In the end three teams were crowned winners as they competed in different brackets.
Winning in the A bracket was skip Mark Heartt and his team as they defeated Doug Kimmie 9-4. The B bracket winner was Glen Merwin. His group was victorious over Jack Fish by a score of 10-6. The C bracket was won by Links Golf Course skipped by Jeremy Clothier. His team and Glen Godberson shook hands after four ends with Links winning 7-1.
The victorious teams were rewarded with cash winnings for their efforts.
