Feyissa takes first stage of Blizzard Bike Club Roubaix Cup
Members of the Blizzard Bike Club were back at it for the first time in 2016 for the first stage of the Roubaix Cup. Six riders were on course on a snowy Sunday with Dawit Feyissa finishing in first place.
He finished the 26 kilometre distance under the difficult conditions in 1:40:25. Gary Hilderman was second in 1:54:49, and rounding out the top three was Robert Sapp in 2:02:46.
Dan Webster took fourth in 2:08:07, and Jon Obie was fifth in 2:49:35.
Pat Ferris did half the distance in 1:00:06.
Stage two goes Sunday at 2 p.m. at Baldonnel School.
