Indoor soccer season concludes
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Thirteen indoor soccer teams with the Fort St. John Women’s Soccer League were at the Kids Arena Fieldhouse over the weekend as they laced up their cleats for their year end tournament. Five squads were competing in the competitive tournament while eight were in the recreational tournament.
In the competitive tournament it was D&D Insulators coming away with the win as they breezed through the round robin going 4-0. They won most of their games handily as their closest contest was 4-2.
In the recreational tournament Stripes came away with a first place win as they took on Fort Motors in the finals. Third place was Aftershock.
Next for the group is their summer league which has either an indoor or outdoor component. Registration is open until March 31.
