Public hearings for Yellow Cabs adjourned, new dates not yet confirmed
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Passenger Transportation Board Director Jan Broocke has confirmed that the scheduled public hearings for Grande Prairie-based Yellow Cabs have been adjourned.
Broocke told Energetic City the board decided to adjourn the meetings in ‘the interest of administrative fairness.’
“We had a request from one of the submitters, the board responded to that request,” she said. “It considered the submissions made by the applicant and the other submitter.”
The hearings were scheduled for Feb. 24, 25 and 26 at the Pomeroy Hotel, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They were already delayed once, having been originally scheduled for the beginning of this month.
Broocke added that when new dates are available, they will be published to the board’s newsletter as soon as possible.
The parties affected by this decision were notified on Friday.
