Mask man robs Grande Prairie A&W restaurant
GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. — Grande Prairie RCMP officers are investigating an armed robbery at an A&W on 100 Street last night.
Around 7:30 p.m., RCMP responded to a report that a masked man had entered the restaurant with a knife. He went behind the counter and demanded the employee to give him money from the till. The suspect made off with an unknown amount of money and left through the back door.
He was last seen running towards Superstore, and police believe there may have been a vehicle waiting for him. Not much is known about the suspect for sure, only that he was wearing a green mask, dark pants, and a black jacket.
Police Dog Services attended and surveyed the surrounding area, but their search yielded no results.
Anyone with more information is asked to contact Grande Prairie RCMP.
