High on Ice Winter Festival – 2016 Schedule for Friday
The High on Ice Winter Festival kicks off today in Fort St. John. There are a number of events happening all weekend long. New event this year include live music on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and an Adult dance and beer garden on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Here is what you can take in today:

| 6 p.m. | Opening Ceremonies/Council Slide off | Centennial Park |
| 6:15 p.m. | Meet the Carvers | Centennial Park Tent |
| 7 p.m. | “Laugh your ice off” – Comedy Show 19+, ticket required | Lido Theatre |
| 7 p.m. | Family Fun Snow Mobile Ride – free | Charlie Lake |
