Hearing date to be set for terror suspect

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The announcement of a trial date for Othman Hamdam could be approaching soon.
According to court documents, the accused appeared in Fort St. John Provincial Court yesterday. He was adjourned to appear again on Feb. 10 for the reason of ‘setting a trial or hearing date.’
Hamdan is facing six counts of counseling to commit murder and assault causing bodily harm on behalf of a terrorist group for posts he allegedy made on social media between September 2014 and July 2015.
He was denied bail that same month.
