CHARLIE LAKE, B.C. — Police have blocked off access to Rimrock Road at Sunnyside Drive in Charlie Lake, due to an incident within the road itself.

The victim who called reported that she escaped the house, but the subject of the complaint, and their 2-year-old son, were still inside the home.

Police say attempts to contact the man inside the home were, and are still, negative. As the roads are blocked off, people are asked to stay clear as RCMP attempt to contact him.
Several residents that live in the area have been evacuated from their homes.
We will update this story as more information becomes available.
