Shots fired into Alberta home leads to multiple arrests

GRIMSHAW, A.B. — A woman was injured on Sunday morning when someone fired shots into her home in Grimshaw, Alberta.

Around 8:30 a.m., Peace Regional RCMP responded to a call reporting shots had been fired, and investigation revealed that someone had discharge a small calibre firearm.

Further investigation revealed other criminal offences were unearthed, and two men were taken into custody. The woman was taken to hospital for her injuries, but released later that day.

Police are still looking into the incident, and welcome information from the public that would help police come to a successful conclusion in the case.

Peace River Forensic Identification Services, and the Police Dog Services assisted general duty members in this investigation.
