UPDATE: Power restored in Fort St. John
BC Hydro says power was restored to customers at 4:09 pm.
No cause has been confirmed yet, but crews suspect the outage was caused by wind gusts, as they might have caused the power lines to sway and contact each other.
2,182 customers in Eastern Fort St John, reaching across Baldonnel to the Alberta border had no power since the early afternoon.
