Dawson Creek RCMP issue warning after recent overdoses

The Dawson Creek RCMP is once again warning the public after a number of overdoses in the community.

According to the RCMP, everyone has recovered after receiving prompt medical treatment. Police have yet to confirm the drug that has caused the recent overdoses, the RCMP believe the most recent case involved a male who was taking fentanyl.

The male quickly went into respiratory distress and was rushed to the Dawson Creek Hospital by B.C. Ambulance.
