Boys volleyball team take seventh in Whitecourt

An inconsistent weekend according to coach Diane Sandberg led to a seventh place finish for the NPSS senior boys volleyball team. A total of 16 teams were taking part at the tournament in Whitecourt.

A loss in focus resulted in a couple of losses Sandberg said. Their best game of the event was a matchup against the hosts where they lost in three sets, but two of them had a two point difference, a 27-25 win, and 15-13 loss in the decider.

Setter Rui Vale was singled out as setting a strong example in perseverance for playing through an injury.
