The North Peace Hockey League has released the schedule for the 2015-2016 season. Locally the Fort St. John Flyers will hit the ice for the first time in league play on October 24 when they host the Manning Comets.

The Flyers won’t have to wait long to renew their rivalry with the Spirit River Rangers as Fort St. John’s second game will be on the road against the Rangers on October 29. Spirit River’s first visit to the North Peace Arena will come on November 13.

Hockey fans won’t have to wait until the 24th to see the Flyers in action however as the team will again be welcoming the Fort Nelson Yeti for a pair of exhibition games October 17 and 18.

The Flyers schedule is as follows:

October 29 at Spirit River

November 6 Grande Prairie

November 13 Spirit River

November 14 at Grimshaw

November 20 Grande Prairie

November 21 at Manning

November 24 Dawson Creek

November 26 at Dawson Creek

November 28 at Falher

December 1 Grande Prairie

December 4 Spirit River

December 5 at High Prairie

December 11 Spirit River

December 12 Falher

December 15 at Dawson Creek

December 18 at Grande Prairie

January 2 at Spirit River

January 5 Dawson Creek
