On September 22nd, RCMP responded to a break and enter at Dawson Creek SPCA.

Upon arrival, they found several of the animals had been set free, and one dog had been stolen.

Police have identified a person of interest in the incident. The suspect is visible on security footage.

They also believe that the one dog taken was deliberately targeted by the owner.

Also on the 22nd, Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a complaint of a home invasion at the residence located in the 900 block of 102nd avenue.

Police were advised that three males had entered a home by kicking in a door.

They are attempting to identify the suspects, but the victims are not cooperating with police.

Police are unable to say at this time if this home invasion and one on Friday are connected, but think it is possible both matters are related to the drug trade in the Peace region.

Dawson Creek RCMP say they responded to 192 calls from September 20th to 26th.

Those include 24 driving complaints, 10 collisions, 2 impaired driving investigations, 10 theft complaints, 13 suspicious persons/vehicle complaints, and 5 break and enters.
