Fort St. John RCMP is looking for a stolen generator after one was taken from a construction area in Taylor. It’s believed the item was taken sometime between 8 p.m. last night, and 7 a.m. this morning.

The 2012 multi-quip Whisper Watch was taken from a site located at East Pine Avenue and 100A Street. Cables that were connected to the generator were found to be cut and it was moved by a vehicle.

The unit is bi-axle mounted and valued at $35,000. It’s white in colour with United Rentals decals on both sides, and has a large red number 45 on the rear panel.

Anyone with information is asked to call 250-787-8100. To remain anonymous you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
