North Peace Alumni Hockey School cancelled for 2015

With ice making being delayed at the Pomeroy Sport Centre due to the recently concluded strike by members of the BCGEU, organizers with the North Peace Alumni Hockey School have been forced to cancel this year’s camp. The announcement was made this morning on the school’s Facebook page.

Organizers were looking into alternative plans but nothing could be worked out to accommodate the camp.

Those that enrolled will be getting refunds. It’s hoped that the camp will go forward next summer.
