As of 9 p.m., the RCMP say the Highway will be closed for a minimum of two hours.  Flaggers are en route to that location and the highway will re-open as soon as it is safe.  Eyewitnesses in the area suggest a B.C. Ambulance also hit the ditch.

The Fort St. John RCMP would like to remind the travelling public that the roads, both within the city and on the highway, are very icy. Please drive carefully and please be patient as we work with our partners to get the highway open as soon as possible.
