Peace River School District wants your children to stay home during the strike

Peace River South District sent home a similar letter, asking for the students to remain home during their picketing on Monday May 26, 2014.

School buses for the two districts will not be running during the corresponding strikes.

“We expect that all other unionized personnel will be advised by their executives not to cross picket lines. Should this happen, school will be unable to offer a full program of instructions, nor will they be able to provide adequate levels of supervision,” PRNSD said in the letter.

Future job action days will be provided on the schools’ district website, www.prn.bc.ca for the northern district, and www.sd59.bc.ca for the south.
