Chetwynd man charged after break-in at SuperValu

There have been eight business break and enters reported to police in the past few months, and surveillance video from two of them helped them to identify potential suspects. The most recent break-in took place at the SuperValu grocery store on January 12, and Underhill was taken into custody shortly after.

A search warrant was executed at his home Sunday afternoon, where stolen property and items used in the break and enter were found. In most of the incidents, the break and enter suspects broke glass from windows and entry doors and items and money without traceable markings were taken, that could easily be resold.

Underhill remains in police custody and is scheduled to make his next court appearance in Dawson Creek Tuesday.
