Workers in that city have been working extended hours with additional contracted equipment to remove all of the holiday snowfall.

Here in Fort St. John, Public Works staff are removing the windrows of snow from downtown streets, so drivers who notice workers ahead of them are asked to avoid the area and turn a few streets away from them.

The City says crews are currently clearing streets in the northwest quadrant of the city, and will be hauling snow all week.
