Funding available to participate in Prince Rupert LNG environmental assessment
It would be developed in two phases, with a capacity of up to 21 million tonnes a year when all three trains are operational. Spectra Energy has been selected to build the accompanying 850 kilometre pipeline from near Fort St. John.
The project is currently undergoing a federal environmental assessment and has submitted its draft Environmental Assessment Report. Individuals and groups can apply for funding to enable them to participate in the process, including consultation on the Environmental Impact Statement and draft Environmental Assessment Report.
