Fort St. John and Dawson Creek break May 5 temperature records

It’s possible that the Energetic City will break another record today with a Environment Canada projected high of 26 degrees. The record for May 6 is 27.2 degrees, set in 1966.

Dawson Creek also set a new record for May 5 with a high of 27.9 degrees. The previous high of 23.9 degrees was set in 1957.

It’s also likely the Mile 0 City will set another record today with a projected high of 28 degrees. The record for today currently stands at 24.4 degrees, set in 1953.
